Law enforcement authorities identified the two individuals who lost their lives in a serious collision occurring late Saturday morning in Bristol County as a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old.
According to reports received at the Massachusetts State Police station, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call received shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday, alerting them to the crash.
Upon arrival, officers located a severely damaged 2019 Honda Civic situated off the roadway. State Police officials confirmed that four individuals were occupying the vehicle at the time of the accident. Tragically, one person did not survive the impact and was pronounced deceased at the location. The remaining three occupants were transported to a nearby hospital. Regrettably, one of those transported later succumbed to their injuries there.
The specific identities of the deceased were confirmed as 17-year-old Gabriel Bertolino Sequeira, hailing from West Yarmouth, and 15-year-old Anne Urbanski Santos De Carvalho, who resided in Dartmouth.
Preliminary investigations regarding the crash are currently underway by the authorities. No additional details regarding the incident were made available to the public immediately following the event.
