Myunique Johnson and Three Others Die in Fatal Dalhart Car Crash

Fatal Dalhart car crash death of Myunique Johnson and three other victims

In a tragic vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon, four individuals lost their lives when a semi-truck collided with a passenger car that was already experiencing a mechanical issue. The fatal accident occurred around 1:40 p.m. near the intersection of US 87, approximately ten miles south of the city of Dalhart in Texas.

According to preliminary reports from the Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision involved a 20-year-old woman from Stratford. Myunique Johnson was driving a silver sedan when a tire suffered a sudden blowout, causing her to reduce speed significantly. Despite the hazard, the driver of the oversized truck, identified as Daniel Villarreal Guadalupe, a 39-year-old from the state, reportedly failed to maintain a safe following distance or adjust his speed in time to avoid the rear-end impact.

Both vehicles ended up in a severe pileup or collision with stationary objects after the initial contact, resulting in immediate fatality for all occupants of the passenger car. Emergency medical services rushed to the scene but were unable to revive the four people inside, all of whom were declared deceased at the location.

The deceased individuals have been identified by local authorities. Among the victims was Lakeisha Brown, an 18-year-old from Galveston. Breanna Brantley, aged 31 from Rosharon, Texas, and Taylor White, a 28-year-old from Missouri City, Texas, also perished in the incident.

Daniel Villarreal Guadalupe sustained minor injuries from the accident and was transported to Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart for treatment. He is expected to recover from the incident without further complications.
