Fatal Pinellas Park, Florida car crash death of Kendall Wilson – Obituary

Kendall Wilson, 28, lost her life after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening in Pinellas Park, according to local police. The deadly incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. along 66th Street.

Investigators with the Pinellas Park Police Department said Wilson was attempting to cross the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk when she entered the path of a southbound black Mercedes SUV. The vehicle struck her, causing severe injuries.

Emergency crews transported Kendall Wilson to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Police confirmed the following morning that she died while undergoing medical treatment.

The driver and a passenger inside the Mercedes were not hurt. Authorities temporarily shut down the roadway as officers examined the scene and gathered evidence.

Police stated that neither speed nor driver impairment are believed to have played a role in the crash. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Kendall Wilson’s death has since concluded.
