Fatal Terrell, Texas shooting death of Philip Dale Humphrey, Sherry Lynn Bostick, and a 12-year-old boy – Obituary

Philip Dale Humphrey, 66, of Kaufman; Sherry Lynn Bostick, 62, of Terrell; and a 12-year-old boy from Wills Point were found dead inside a home on Rash Lane on Christmas Eve, Terrell police confirmed. Authorities also reported that 38-year-old Casey Dale Humphrey of Forney died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police were conducting a welfare check at the residence on Dec. 24 after receiving a 911 call indicating that people inside the home had died. Upon arrival, officers discovered the three adults and the child deceased. The identities of the 12-year-old have been withheld at the family’s request.

The relationships between the four individuals have not been disclosed. Terrell authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing as detectives continue gathering evidence, reviewing information, and conducting interviews.
