Lisa Morrow, 66, died on December 29 from injuries sustained in a house fire that occurred days earlier in York, Pennsylvania.

The fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. on December 26 in the 900 block of Edison Street. York City firefighters discovered Morrow and another resident inside the home in cardiac arrest and transported them to a local hospital. Morrow later succumbed to her injuries, while the condition of the other resident remains unknown.

York City detectives and the fire department are investigating the cause of the blaze. Mayor Michael Helfrich expressed condolences, noting the community’s grief and honoring Morrow’s life.
