William E. Berks, 65, was confirmed dead following a shooting at his home in Kimberly, Idaho, authorities reported. The incident occurred on the evening of December 19 near the corner of Adams Street and Ash Street South. Berks was transported to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center, where he underwent surgery but remained in critical condition until his death on December 24.
