Fatal Coushatta, Louisiana crash death of Chad White – Obituary

Chad White, 42, of Coushatta, died in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 49 north of Natchitoches early on New Year’s Day. Louisiana State Police reported that around 1:11 a.m., White’s 2025 Kia veered off the roadway, striking a contractor arrow board before overturning and ejecting him from the vehicle.

Authorities confirmed that White was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. A passenger in the car, who was properly restrained, sustained only minor injuries. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
