Fatal Palm Beach County crash death of Jorge Fermin – Obituary

Jorge Fermin, 57, has passed away from injuries he suffered in a wrong-way collision last August, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. Fermin was pronounced dead on December 31.

The crash occurred on August 10 on Southern Boulevard in Belle Glade, when Fermin was driving westbound and collided with a vehicle driven eastbound by 24-year-old Lon’quinten McFadden, who failed to yield. McFadden died at the scene, while Fermin was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in critical condition, ultimately succumbing to his injuries months later.
