Fatal Macon, Georgia shooting death of Ahmad Shahid Roberts – Obituary

Ahmad Shahid Roberts, 27, was killed Thursday afternoon in a shooting at a Macon gas station.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported that officers responded shortly after 3 p.m. to the Shell on South Heron Street, where they found Roberts lying unresponsive on the sidewalk with gunshot injuries. He was transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

The Bibb County Coroner’s Office confirmed Roberts’ identity and notified his family. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are urging anyone with information to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
