Fatal Gainesville pedestrian accident death of Nicholas Zumbro – Obituary
The tragic collision took place Wednesday night on the railroad overpass in the 100 block of East U.S. Highway 82. Nicholas Zumbro, 36, of Gainesville, was walking in the lane of traffic when he was struck by an SUV.
Zumbro was rushed to North Texas Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Police confirmed that the driver of the SUV remained at the scene, and the investigation into the incident is continuing.
