Michael Harrison, 26, was tragically killed in a shooting near Sheik’s Restaurant and Lounge on Salem Avenue early Thursday morning, January 1. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity on Friday.

Around 2:44 a.m., Trotwood police responded to reports of a shooting at the location. A 911 caller had informed authorities that a man had been shot and was lying on the ground. Harrison was found at the scene and was pronounced dead shortly after by the coroner’s office.
