Fatal Portland, Oregon homicide death of Jamal Rogers – Obituary

Jamal Rogers, 32, was found dead in Johnson Creek in Portland early Tuesday morning, in what authorities have determined to be a homicide. Officers responded to reports of a body in the water around 1:15 a.m., and the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office dive team recovered Rogers’ body.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation. No suspects have been identified, and police have confirmed that Rogers’ family has been notified and requested privacy.
