Emoni Nicole Chaplinon dies in fatal Orangeburg, South Carolina car crash

Fatal Orangeburg, South Carolina car crash death of Emoni Nicole Chaplinon – Obituary

Emoni Nicole Chaplinon, 27, of Orangeburg, was killed Saturday following a vehicle versus pedestrian collision, according to the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office. Emoni Nicole Chaplinon was pronounced dead at the scene after the incident occurred along John C. Calhoun Drive.

Officials said the crash is still under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision.

In a separate incident, the coroner’s office also confirmed the identity of a woman who died in a house fire that occurred on Friday in Orangeburg. Lisa Cheeseboro, 58, was found deceased at the scene of the fire.

Authorities stated that an autopsy for Cheeseboro has been scheduled for later next week as part of the ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire.
