Corbin Lendy Regan, a 19-year-old resident of Salem, lost his life after a serious traffic accident early Sunday morning in Russell County, authorities confirmed. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that the wreck occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. along Howard Road, roughly 20 miles south of Phenix City.

Investigators said Regan was driving when his vehicle veered off the roadway, collided with an embankment and a utility pole, and then overturned. Emergency crews arrived at the scene, but Regan was pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Officials are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
