Lloyd Dellbert Vaughn, a 57-year-old man from Parthenon, has died from injuries linked to a motorcycle collision that occurred late last month in rural Newton County, according to Arkansas State Police. Authorities confirmed that Vaughn was involved in the crash on December 23 while traveling along Arkansas Highway 123.

Investigators said a deer suddenly entered the roadway and struck Vaughn’s Honda VT500, causing him to lose control. Emergency responders transported Vaughn to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

State police reported that no other vehicles were involved in the incident. The crash details were documented in an official accident report, and the incident remains classified as a single-vehicle collision.
