Longview, Texas Man Dequarius Hilburn Arrested in Longview for Fatal Shooting

LONGVIEW, TX — Dequarius Hilburn, a 28-year-old resident of Longview, was arrested in Longview in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred two days after Christmas.

According to the Longview Police Department, Hilburn was taken into custody on Monday, Dec. 30, following an investigation into a shooting that took place on Dec. 27 in the 100 block of West Highland. Authorities say the incident involved Byrondrick Davis, 32, who was found suffering from gunshot wounds and later died at a local hospital.

Hilburn was transported to the Gregg County Jail and is currently facing a murder charge related to the incident.
