Cody Blaine Wall, 43, of Cameron, lost his life Sunday following a deadly head-on collision in Milam County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

State officials said the crash occurred when a 20-year-old man from Conroe, driving a 2018 Ford F-250 pickup truck, allegedly attempted to pass Wall’s vehicle. Wall was operating a 2022 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck at the time of the incident.

During the passing maneuver, the vehicles collided head-on, causing severe damage. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Wall was pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

The incident was one of several serious traffic accidents reported over the first weekend of the year in Bell and Milam counties, which kept first responders busy. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
