Fatal Midland Loop 250 crash death of Luisa Valencia Garcia – Obituary

Luisa Valencia Garcia, 20, of Midland, was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Friday morning on Loop 250 and East CR60, Midland police reported. The crash occurred around 1 a.m. on January 2, when a Ford Mustang driven by 20-year-old Rene Galindo struck a center cable and then a concrete barrier in the median, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire. Galindo was taken to a hospital, where he later died, while another passenger, Natalia Torres, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Garcia was also found dead at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
