Austin James Archer, 26, of Pratt, was identified by police after his body was discovered Monday afternoon near South Highway 281 and Southeast 30th Street in Pratt County. The Pratt Police Department confirmed that Archer had been reported missing on December 15 before he was found.

According to authorities, a preliminary investigation determined that Archer’s death resulted from a self-inflicted injury. Police did not report any evidence of foul play.
