Fatal Berrien County, Michigan car crash deaths of Robert Klint, Melissa Klint, Landyn Klint, Landyn Klint, and Kent Williamson – Obituary
Robert Klint, 66, along with Melissa Klint, 60, Landyn Klint, 22, and Kent Williamson, 52, were all killed Friday in a devastating traffic collision in Buchanan Township, located in southwestern Michigan’s Berrien County. Authorities said the crash happened when another vehicle ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed and struck their car.
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Robert Klint, a resident of Sawyer, was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. Melissa Klint and Landyn Klint, also of Sawyer, were passengers, along with Kent Williamson, who was visiting from Virginia.
Investigators reported that the other vehicle failed to stop at the intersection before slamming into the Klint vehicle, causing catastrophic damage. All four occupants suffered fatal injuries as a result of the impact.
The crash remains under investigation as officials continue to examine the actions leading up to the deadly stop sign violation.
