Fatal Groveland, California crash death of Hersain Jimenez-Delarosa – Obituary

Hersain Jimenez-Delarosa, 43, of Lodi, was killed in a crash on New Priest Grade in Groveland on Thursday afternoon. His 2014 GMC Sierra left the roadway and tumbled 400 feet down a steep embankment, overturning multiple times before coming to rest.

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m., but due to the challenging terrain, authorities did not locate the vehicle or Jimenez-Delarosa until 11 a.m. the following day.

Officers reached the site on foot to recover both the truck and the victim. An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
