Thomas Maloney dies in fatal Long Beach, New York car accident

Fatal Long Beach, New York car accident death of Thomas Maloney – Obituary

Thomas Maloney, 79, of Long Beach, was struck and killed while crossing W. Park Avenue southbound on Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was hit by a 2019 blue BMW SUV traveling eastbound, driven by a 58-year-old man.

Maloney sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene, and authorities confirmed no other injuries occurred.

The Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad is continuing its investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
