Fatal Richville, Minnesota dog attack death of Beckett Brown – Obituary

Beckett Brown, a 3-year-old boy from Richville, tragically passed away after being attacked by an adult American bulldog on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred when Beckett entered a dog enclosure outside his grandmother’s home, located west of New York Mills in Otter Tail County. Preliminary findings from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office suggest that the dog mauled the child while he was in the enclosure.

In an attempt to save him, Beckett’s grandmother, 51, suffered severe injuries. She called 911 while driving both herself and Beckett to a nearby emergency room, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Following the attack, the family made the decision to euthanize the dog.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the tragic incident.
