Jerod Brister dies in fatal New Orleans double shooting

Fatal New Orleans double shooting death of Jerod Brister – Obituary

Jerod Brister, 24, was killed Monday afternoon in a shooting in the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans. Brister was shot near the intersection of Brevard Avenue and Dinkins Street around 12:35 p.m. and was transported to a hospital along with a 43-year-old man who also sustained gunshot wounds. Brister was pronounced dead at the hospital.
