Fatal Knox County crash death of Andrew McGee – Obituary

Andrew McGee, 31, of Utica, Ohio, was killed early Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Clay Township, Knox County. The crash occurred near the intersection of Township Road 148 and State Route 586 when another driver, 30-year-old Kayla Jacobs, failed to yield at a stop sign.

McGee’s vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a car driven by 54-year-old David Holmes, who sustained minor injuries. Jacobs and a 5-year-old passenger in her vehicle were unharmed. Both Holmes and Jacobs were wearing seatbelts, and authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
