Daniel Ray Markham dies in fatal Yolo County hit-and-run

Fatal Yolo County hit-and-run death of Daniel Ray Markham – Obituary

Daniel Ray Markham, 46, of Woodland, was killed in an apparent hit-and-run along Interstate 5 in Yolo County. His body was discovered Tuesday morning in the northbound center divide near West Street, just northwest of Woodland.

California Highway Patrol officers reported that evidence at the scene indicated Markham had been struck by a vehicle, whose driver fled without stopping. The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office coroner confirmed his identity.

The CHP continues to investigate the incident, searching for the vehicle and driver responsible. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the CHP Woodland office at 530-702-6250.
