Vincent Quindon, 28, was killed during a late-night shooting in the Morgan Park neighborhood on Chicago’s Far South Side. Vincent Quindon was one of three men struck by gunfire during the incident.

The shooting occurred around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 11000 block of South Longwood Drive, according to Chicago police. Officers arriving at the scene discovered three adult men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Quindon had been shot in the lower back and was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was later pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed.

A second man sustained multiple gunshot wounds across his body and was taken to the same hospital in critical condition. A third victim, also 28 years old, was shot in the left foot and was hospitalized in good condition.

No arrests have been announced, and authorities said no suspects were in custody as of the latest update. Area 2 detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
