James Keno Davis, 35, of Brooklyn, New York, died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run crash on South Avenue in Stratford. James Keno Davis passed away the day after the Friday collision that left another person seriously injured.

Stratford police reported that 56-year-old Kevin O’Neill has been charged in connection with the crash after admitting involvement. Officers located O’Neill’s black Chevrolet truck, which had significant front-end damage, at a Parrott Avenue address in Bridgeport.

Authorities charged O’Neill with evading responsibility resulting in serious physical injury and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Police have not confirmed whether the location where the truck was recovered is O’Neill’s residence. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
