Chloe Alyssa Ramsubhag, 14, of Waterbury, was killed early Sunday morning, Jan. 12, 2025, in a multi-vehicle collision on Route 8 South in Shelton, Connecticut. The crash involved a car driven by the victim’s uncle, which collided with the rear of another vehicle, sending it into the median and then into northbound lanes where it was struck by a third vehicle.
State police reported that the uncle, identified as C. Beaumonte, initially left the scene. Jessenia Beaumonte, 32, a Bethel police officer and sister of the driver, later met with him and contacted a supervisor for guidance on the incident, according to the arrest warrant.
The collision claimed Chloe’s life, while the investigation into the circumstances of the crash and the actions of those involved is ongoing. Authorities continue to gather evidence as the case proceeds.
