Fatal St. Louis County shooting death of Shana Mack – Obituary

On Monday night, a peaceful neighborhood in an unincorporated area of north St. Louis County was shattered by gunfire, marking a tragic event in a normally quiet community.

Residents, including Jennie Kimbrough, who had been living in the area for a year, expressed shock and concern after hearing multiple gunshots around 10 p.m.

At least four shots were reported, and St. Louis County police quickly responded, cordoning off a home on Av de Paris Drive with crime scene tape.

Authorities confirmed that 36-year-old Shana Mack lived at the home and had been fatally wounded by at least one gunshot.

No suspects have been identified, and police have yet to release further details on the investigation. Security cameras in the area provided no significant leads.

This marks the first deadly shooting in unincorporated St. Louis County this year, and residents, including neighbors like Joyce Meyer and Devlon Kimbrough, expressed their concern for their safety, hoping for answers from detectives.
