Mason William Boulais dies in fatal San Marcos motorcycle crash

Fatal San Marcos motorcycle crash death of Mason William Boulais – Obituary

A 23-year-old motorcyclist from Escondido, Mason William Boulais, lost his life in a collision with a sedan in east San Marcos on Wednesday.

The tragic accident occurred at around 5:25 p.m. on Montiel Road, located approximately half a mile east of Nordahl Avenue, near state Route 78. The crash involved a white Nissan Altima sedan and a Kawasaki ZX-10R motorcycle.

Upon arrival, deputies found Boulais unresponsive. Despite efforts by deputies and paramedics to revive him, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and fully cooperated with authorities. The San Marcos sheriff’s department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
