Fatal Silver Spring crash death of Tayeba Rezaie – Obituary
Tayeba Rezaie, a 15-year-old girl, was killed Wednesday morning in a car crash in Silver Spring, Maryland. Police confirmed the tragic incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. near Northwest Drive.
Authorities report that an 18-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, was driving a Lexus southbound on Lockwood Drive when witnesses saw him pass a RideOn Flash Bus just before reaching the Northwest Drive intersection. As he entered the intersection, he swerved to avoid colliding with an eastbound Toyota Corolla. The Lexus made contact with the Toyota, lost control, and struck a wooden utility pole.

Two other passengers—a 20-year-old woman in critical condition and a 28-year-old woman with minor injuries—were transported to nearby hospitals. The Lexus driver suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalization, while the Toyota driver reported no injuries.
