Lyle R. Zyler dies in fatal Ravalli head-on collision

Fatal Ravalli head-on collision death of Lyle R. Zyler – Obituary

Lyle R. Zyler, 35, of Arlee, Montana, was killed Sunday morning in a head-on crash near Ravalli. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the accident occurred on Highway 93 North.

Authorities reported that Zyler was driving a northbound Honda Civic in the southbound lanes when it collided with a southbound Ford F-150. Troopers pronounced Zyler dead at the scene.

The Ford’s driver was taken to a hospital in Ronan for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office expressed their condolences to Zyler’s family.

Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
