Fatal Dry Ridge head-on crash death of Brandy Nash – Obituary

Brandy Nash, 35, a mother of three from northern Kentucky, was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on collision in Dry Ridge. Kentucky State Police reported the crash occurred around 11 a.m. along Taft Highway.

Authorities said an 81-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles crossed into the opposite lane and struck a pickup truck head-on. Nash, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead at the scene, along with the 81-year-old driver.

Nash’s husband, who was driving, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. Two of Nash’s three children were also in the vehicle; one has been released from the hospital, while the other underwent surgery and faces an extended recovery. Her third child was not in the car at the time of the crash.

Family and first responders described Nash as a devoted mother and loving presence. The crash remains under investigation, with assistance from multiple local agencies including the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Dry Ridge Fire Department.
