Fatal Springfield, Missouri shooting death of Brandon Watt – Obituary

Brandon Watt, 22, of Springfield, Missouri, was killed late on January 15, 2026, after being shot near the intersection of Kimbrough Avenue and Elm Street. He was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

A 20-year-old Springfield man was arrested at the scene and is under investigation, with the case to be reviewed by the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office for potential charges.
