Fatal Lena, Wisconsin snowmobile crash death of Kyler Cook – Obituary

Kyler Cook, 15, of Lena, Wisconsin, died on January 13, 2026, following a snowmobile accident on private property along Arndt Road. Authorities reported that Cook lost control of the vehicle, which ended up on its side in a ditch. He was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Cook is remembered for his love of the outdoors, including hunting, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling. He is survived by his parents, Kelby and Maggie Cook, and his siblings Kaelyn, Kinley, Kase, Kam, and Kya.

Funeral services were scheduled for January 19 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lena, with visitation preceding the Mass. The accident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the sheriff’s office, and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office.
