Fatal Oakland Park, Florida crash death of Teddy McCall – Obituary

Teddy McCall, 64, of Oakland Park, Florida, was killed on the evening of January 15, 2026, when his vehicle collided with another car near the intersection of Northwest Ninth Avenue and Northwest 40th Street. McCall was driving with his wife when the crash occurred as he was making a left turn.

McCall was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A second victim also died at the scene.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances of the collision. Northbound and southbound lanes of Northwest Ninth Avenue were temporarily closed but have since reopened.
