Fatal Clarkstown, New York pedestrian crash death of Joseph Signorini – Obituary
Joseph Signorini, a 41-year-old man from Congers, New York, was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident on Route 303 near Route 59 on the evening of January 17. Authorities confirmed his identity after the fatal crash occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Police report that Signorini was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound, and then was hit by a second vehicle traveling northbound. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead shortly after the incident.
As a result of the crash, Route 303 was closed in both directions for several hours while the Clarkstown Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit conducted a thorough investigation. The road was later reopened once investigators cleared the area.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, and they are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant information to contact the Clarkstown Police Department.
