Milwaukee, Wisconsin Man Lance White Arrested in Milwaukee for Homicide

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN — Lance White, a 29-year-old resident of Milwaukee, was arrested in Milwaukee in connection with a homicide involving the fatal shooting of a woman at a northwest-side motel earlier this month.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, White was taken into custody on Tuesday after being located at a local hospital. Authorities say the incident occurred on Jan. 14 at the Port Motel on Appleton Avenue, where 29-year-old Alicia Machnik was found dead inside a motel room with a gunshot wound to the head.

White was transported to the Milwaukee County Jail and is currently facing a charge of first-degree intentional homicide related to the incident.
