Fatal Kissimmee shooting death of Douglas Kraft – Obituary

Douglas Kraft, from Holland, Mich., was among three men killed in a random shooting on Jan. 17 in Kissimmee, Florida.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reported finding Kraft, along with Robert Kraft of Columbus, Ohio, and James Puchan of Galena, Ohio, dead from gunshot wounds in the front yard of a rental home south of Orlando.

The men had traveled to the Mecum Car Show and were staying at an Airbnb while waiting for a replacement rental car after experiencing vehicle issues.

Authorities say the victims were observed from a distance by an individual known to law enforcement, who later approached and fatally shot them in what Sheriff Christopher Blackmon described as a “cold-blooded” and entirely random act.

The suspect, 29-year-old Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, is in custody and has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and resisting arrest without violence. Bojeh was denied bond during a court appearance and remains in detention pending further hearings.
