Fatal Bermuda motorcycle crash death of Adam Tavares – Obituary

Adam Tavares, 51, of Bermuda, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on Thursday, January 22, 2026. The crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. at the junction of Loyal Hill and North Shore Road in Devonshire.

Authorities reported that the motorcycle collision claimed Tavares’ life despite efforts from community members who came to his aid at the scene. The Bermuda Police Service continues to investigate the circumstances of the fatal crash.

The BPS expressed condolences to Tavares’ family and friends and has assigned a Family Liaison Officer to support his loved ones during the ongoing inquiry.
