Nancy Bamlet dies in fatal Hubbard County car crash

Fatal Hubbard County car crash death of Nancy Bamlet – Obituary

Nancy Bamlet, 80, of Nevis, died Tuesday in a head-on collision on Highway 34 just west of Park Rapids.

According to authorities, Bamlet was driving a 2005 Buick Lesabre eastbound when her vehicle crossed the center line, causing a collision with a westbound Chevrolet Colorado.

The Colorado’s driver, 85-year-old Noel Sletten of Park Rapids, was taken to Sanford Fargo hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Emergency responders pronounced Bamlet dead at the scene.

Officials continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
