Vanessa Pountney-Chadha, 58, was found dead Tuesday morning at a residence on Applegarth Drive in Barkingside.

Authorities said officers discovered her body around 4 a.m., and her next-of-kin have been notified and are receiving support from specially trained personnel. Dalip Chadha, 57, of the same address, was arrested at the scene and is scheduled to appear before Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 28, charged with murder. Police continue to investigate the circumstances and have urged anyone with information to contact them.
