Fatal Grand Rapids, Michigan shooting death of Jacqueline Neill – Obituary

Authorities in Grand Rapids have confirmed that Jacqueline Neill and her two teenage sons were the victims of a deadly shooting inside their home earlier this week. Neill, along with her 15-year-old son Cameron Kilpatrick and 13-year-old son Michael Kilpatrick, were found fatally wounded at the residence.

Police say Neill’s estranged fiancé, 44-year-old Charles Broomfield, has been arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the killings. Investigators allege that Broomfield contacted emergency dispatchers himself, calling 9-1-1 to report a shooting and an alleged home invasion after the incident occurred.

A five-year-old child who also lived in the home was present at the time of the shooting but was not physically harmed, according to officials. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence surrounding the tragic deaths.
