Nathaniel Forrest dies in fatal Broward County, Florida shooting

Fatal Broward County, Florida shooting death of Nathaniel Forrest – Obituary

Broward County authorities have identified Nathaniel Forrest, 35, as the man fatally shot near the 900 block of Northwest 24th Avenue on the night of Jan. 19.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 9:42 p.m. after a ShotSpotter alert indicated possible gunfire. Forrest was found with a gunshot wound and was immediately transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and have not released any suspects. The Broward Crime Stoppers program is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that could lead to an arrest.
