Dantino Warren, 35, was killed in a shooting on January 8, 2026, in Inkster, Michigan.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., Inkster police responded to reports of a shooting at Hazelwood and Middlebelt. Warren was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Rodella Fickling, 40, was arrested and arraigned on January 22, 2026, facing murder charges in connection with Warren’s death. The investigation continues, with authorities praising the cooperation between local police and Michigan State Police detectives for resolving the case. The Inkster Police Department also noted that arrests have been made in five of the six homicides that occurred in the city in 2025.
