Sela Havea, 77, tragically died on January 27, 2026, in a house fire in Colleyville, Texas. Firefighters responded to a structure fire at a residence on Sweetbriar Lane shortly after 10 a.m.

Upon arrival, they learned that two residents had not made it out of the home. Havea was found dead at the scene around 11:30 a.m. after the fire was extinguished.

Two other individuals who had escaped the fire suffered minor injuries, with one being transported to a hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no firefighters were injured during the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
