Joseph Gobble, a 29-year-old resident of Brockport, died early Friday morning after his vehicle crashed into a gas station in Greece, New York, according to local police.
Authorities reported that the collision occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the Kwik Fill gas station located at 3400 West Ridge Road. Investigators said Gobble’s vehicle plowed into several fuel pumps and support pillars beneath the station’s canopy before ultimately coming to a stop against a concrete support column.
Gobble was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials confirmed that no other individuals were injured in the incident.
Police noted that the vehicle sustained severe damage, and the crash also caused extensive destruction to multiple fuel pumps and the canopy structure at the station.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still being examined by investigators.
