Authorities in Modesto have identified the motorcyclist who died following a collision Friday night in the city’s La Loma neighborhood. The victim, 48-year-old Alana Inderbitzin, was taken to a hospital after the crash but later succumbed to her injuries.
Police said officers from the Modesto Police Department responded shortly before 10 p.m. to the intersection of La Loma Avenue and Morton Boulevard after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle. Upon arrival, they found Inderbitzin injured at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved had already left the scene when officers arrived. Law enforcement later located the vehicle connected to the crash, though details about the driver or the circumstances remain limited.
