Fatal Colorado Springs North Union Boulevard crash death of Elijah Cobb – Obituary
Elijah Cobb, 28, has been identified as the motorcyclist who lost his life in a crash last month on North Union Boulevard in Colorado Springs.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office confirmed Cobb died at the scene of the accident, which occurred around 4:45 p.m. on February 24 at the intersection with Woodland Hills Drive, near Woodmen Road.
According to Colorado Springs Police, Cobb was heading north on North Union Boulevard when a van made a left turn directly in front of him. Officers reported that Cobb was pronounced dead at the site.
While authorities do not suspect any impairment, investigators are looking into whether speed played a role in the collision. This incident marked the sixth traffic fatality in Colorado Springs so far this year, a notable increase from just one at the same point last year.
